ASSOCIATES
An applicant for the grade of Associate must satisfy the Council that:-
- He or she is at least 21 years of age.
- He or she has passed the Institution's examination for Associateship, or such other examinations ( such as O.N.C., C.G.L.I., etc. ) as are, in the opinion of Council, equivalent thereto; or submits a thesis or dissertation that is approved as adequate by Council.
- He or she has been engaged in a branch of electronic science, or its application, for not less than 3 years.
or
- He or she is at least 21 years of age, has been involved in electronics for not less than 3 years, and is adequately qualified in his or her own discipline.
